I'm basing my ideas on what the rest of the industry is doing. GoJet another TSH company is paying 200%.
A contract is different, and you're right picking up open time is someone picking it up vs you getting it possibly. But if EVERYONE decided not to pick up until it hit 200% regularly, it could happen without jr manning.

What reason would the company have to pay 200% for open time when they can just JA and pay 150%?

United Airlines will offer flights from Everett?s Paine Field | The Seattle Times
Y'all don't think........might we be?

And since we all love to speculate...it wouldn't surprise me if Delta announces some PAE flying in the near future to snag a piece of the new pie. Maybe we'll even see LAX-PAE from AA, similar to their LAX-SEA route.

If you're talking about UA flying...it's pretty obvious the flying will be done by mainline or their regional partners based in SFO/DEN.

Someone finally locked onto what I was suggesting.
Delta will have a response to this alternative airport strategy by United and Alaska.
And we could very easily be a part of it.
