Status report: most junior upgrade is 7/9/2015 (2 years and 2 months to Captain upgrade class date). The upgrades went more senior with long time bypass people finally taking a slot. New hires were placed both in SEA and LAX with the most junior going to LAX.

Day 1 GOS to LOE schedule should be somewhat concrete, and I am sure you can talk to training crew scheduler to figure out. Bottom line is, you will work with your sim partner all the way till it's done, pair up with a flexible one or don't mess up your partners schedule.
Best time probably between CELL and OE to request days off, they are very good at accommodating!

Unless this has recently changed with the slow down of hiring, my upgrade schedule was not concrete at all when I went through in jan. Our schedule changed on a daily basis

Saying there will be big news without hinting at what it might be is like a psychic using cold reading. There will be big news at the end of August...then if we have any sort of big announcement you can proclaim that was it. Now if you were to say, a Phoenix domicile will be announced at the end of August, or there will be more cash offered to attract talent and it doesn't happen we can measure if the rumor of a big announcement holds any weight.
Until it is in black and white it is a rumor, but if you have a solid rumor why not share it. I highly doubt that you posting on here will jeopardize anything coming down the pipe.

How do I list for an American jumpseat? Its my understanding we have to use myidlisting, but when I get to the end of the reservation process, it says internal booking error or something. I have not officially gotten put on AA beni's but LAX based, so does that have anything to do with it?
