Contract question: CS called me off ready reserve last night for a STL turn and we ended up getting back to MSP at 3am this morning. Today is supposed to be my last day of reserve, so they gave me on a rap from 1400-1800. The captain was pretty adamant that I shouldn't have to be on reserve today since I already had an assignment that went into today, but couldn't find it in the contract. Are they right? Or is the 4 hours of reserve I have later today legit?
I think it's a way for them to log your duty time and pay you min guarantee for being on rsv. They put you on for 4hrs today but can they actually use you in that short time? Doubt it. Call scheduling and ask them and the cp and see what's up

What? No you can't. FLICA allowed you to do this only because of a glitch and CS couldn't do anything about it so they looked the other way. Nowhere in the contract does it say that we can drop our reserve days (and be payed below guarantee) - so if you have the verbage, please share it. Is this on some kind of a LOA?

IOCC is crap. I just tried to pick up opentime for the first time. Straight pick up on off days (day 6 of 12 off), not a swap or drop, and was rejected. wut de fuk. The pairing is still in opentime...

Has anybody ever had IOCC auto approve anything without coming up with some kind of crazy denial reason?

Have any LAX CA's been able to drop anything through IOCC or Trip trades? I haven't heard a reply in over 12 hrs from scheduling...

What happens to our sick bank when we depart from the company? Is there anyway to be paid out for it (besides calling out sick) or does it disappear?
