As a high seniority FO, do ya'll think applying to Spirit is any better than waiting out an upgrade? Last I checked I'm looking at around 80 people ahead of me, all bases, per last vacancy. I have a really cushy FO line here, but upgrade would be a loooong time of reserve once my number finally gets called.
Big thing being I live in an NK base and don't have a college degree. Any thoughts?

So once again the Open listings are locked out because IOCC has locked Apr. just like last month, even though the said it was fixed.
Why am I not surprised.

Think about that for a second...Which sounds better? A place that is a subcontractor...Or a place where they own the flying and sign the paychecks?

If you are finishing your degree and shooting for the traditional majors then it is a bit more complicated. TPIC still helps regardless of what people say. Those that get hired without it usually worked in recruiting, training, or some other extra roll. People will probably be leaving the regionals in droves and reserve probably won't be years allowing you to get your time.

The good news, which I think everyone can utilize right now:
Upgrades resume May 1st. I cant remember the exact numbers but that's good as well need some of that upward progression.
Between March and April we lost 32 pilots. That's quite a bit considering our size. Maybe the movement bottleneck has finally cleared and things will start moving up. This is particularly good for those who are on reserve right now. Lineholder status wont be that far out of reach.
