Just a few comments:
Expect to see a few things get a heck of a lot better within the Scheduling side of the house. Nicole Crabtree will no longer be with us starting the 31st, as I believe she took a position with CommutAir. Zach will be the interim scheduling supervisor in charge of everybody for the mean time, and from what I have been told, he is very much in tune with the contract. Meaning, he isn't going to try and push things as far as possible, and then leave you high and dry in an outstation. If you time out, you time out. If things are cancelled or delayed, they are delayed.
I have also been told that crew scheduling is breathing a sigh of relief. This could be some very good news and the aforementioned "Failboat" might stop listing and get back on course.
You also may have noticed that they bumped up the number of LCR slots for the month. March was at 18 percent and it looks like April will hold there. Great news especially as we have new line pilots coming online.
My only complaint right now is lack of communication from certain departments within the company. I understand that Compass is a decent size, and somethings take time. Interdepartmental communications will also go unanswered or have no response whatsoever. I would like to see a simple "I don t know, but I will look into this". See the earlier pay issue posts for other references.
As previously mentioned it is nice to see that Bob is acknowledging a lot of the issues people have been having with IOCC. The whole attack on the pay issues was a great way to handle it. I suspect they all have their hands tied there, and I will also give them props that they are willing to hold another All Employee call this month. "Hurry up and wait" is not a parlance I like to use on a frequent basis, however, I think this is the hand we've been dealt until the movement from the top starts to occur.
Last but not least: a message to those guys bashing Marlon, and the one special window licker threatening management. The bashers, you all need to get a life. Way to contribute to a good team environment, and I am sure by now Marlon has been made aware of this stuff. Y'all need to go relax, drink a beer, or get laid...in that order. To the Window Licker-nice job, dummy. Threatening management when you are holding a 2/9 off suite and they have Aces, is so far beyond stupid I can't even come up with an appropriate description.
Cheers guys! So far the guys I have been flying with on Reserve have been nothing short of outstanding, have been great at teaching both technique and policy, as well as made every trip a pleasant experience and overnight. Isn't this what we are here for as young pilots trying to get a leg up?

I asked if that was going to shake things up a bit and that was the response I was given. So, crew scheduling supervisor good enough?

So I know RosterBuster is a POS but for those of you on RSV, how do you get your flying to populate after you get a trip assigned? I got a trip assigned and re downloaded my schedule on there and RosterBuster still shows me on RSV all day....?
