Haha this is funny. I merely stated the fact that you can expect more delta shuffling as these 175's are going to LAX and SEA. Remember Skywest has been on the west coast since the 1970's so what do you think happened when delta shifted compass flying into these long standing bases? We lost a lot of those routes. Did we cry about it? Nope! This is how the regional model works but I suspect that this is probably your first time dealing with it since the majority of your pilot group has less than 3 years experience.

I don't take any pleasure nor do I really care! I don't make these decisions, Delta does. I've already worn that "other shoe" a lot more so than you losing a few routes which were already operated by someone else before that. The point in my original post was to say that these airplanes are all west coast base so I'd expect more of the Delta shuffle. Maybe y'all will expand MSP again or even open DTW back up....

Ha ha, I remember when I was at Mesaba and Northwest was building up their presence out west. Skywest pilots being doosh bags on the radio, flipping us off as we taxied by. There will always be so jerks at every airline. So please stay away from the blanket statements like, "Did we cry about it? Nope.

Same reason there are endeavor guys on here and compass guys on other threads! I'd say boredom mostly. This is what the forums of APC are for!

If memory serves me right a few pages back they were itching for horizons or the rest of the UAL's 175s. Which is pretty hyprocritical. If I had it my way Skywest, compass, endeavor, etc would stop getting regional planes so the regionals would die

I think we're reaching the end. Everyone is scoped out. There might be a few more new contracts here and there but not much.

Your last sentence isn't accurate and is misleading. A majority of our pilot group has 3-4 years or less at compass but this isn't our first regional airline and a lot of us came from other DC carriers who have a of experience with the Delta shuffle. I hardly believe you guys didn't cry about losing some of those DELTA routes. Don't flatter yourself.
