Proofreading manuals. They actually had flight attendants who were on light duty just sit there and read the FAM in the crew lounge...

Compass had been too good to be true up until this point with the movement and the upgrades tbh. Compared to all other regionals that is.

Hmm, 30 days of personal leave with pass bennies doesn't sound too terrible. I guess after 30 days no bennies.

Just found that Memo from MW...Both Upgrade classes are being honored for Jan, but sounds like hiring and upgrades after that will slow down and only happen as needed...very interesting to say the least

Still hoping for some new flying of course, as we are in a great position to quickly start some new flying. All the new 175's entering service for the majors are still on back order to some extent. Whatever birds may be "up for bid" that could be potentially awarded may still be months or more away from being delivered.
In my opinion, it seems that the Worst case scenario is we have a 2-4 month hiring and possibly upgrade freeze. Attrition then makes up for the lost 170's by April/May and we continue service for AA and DL beyond 2020 as planned. Meaning back to normal relatively soon as far as movement goes. (assuming 20 a month)
Best case scenario, we get 12 UA birds and continue current ops as well as ramp up hiring again to what it was 12 months ago.
