No. Our AA performance is great. Planes are in a contract. Good God

let the rumors begin that we are about to lose the whole fleet. Envoy is also still taking deliveries for their 40 175s and we are still under contract for our 20. I believe they just got # 26.

TSA jumpseater the other night said that theirs still is not working properly and that they need to email all trades and drops to the company...but that they are told it should be fixed by the time Compass starts using it.

hotel van. Even says Radisson on the side. Was just there the other night and they were already there waiting for us.

Thanks. Haven't done YWG here at CPZ and thought since it's a 20 minute ride it might be 3rd party.

As long as we don't lose any more airplanes, this "bump" on the road shouldn't stagnate us for more than 4-5 months. That's assuming attrition stays the same (since it's supposed to increase 1st quarter) and assuming we are not getting any addtl. flying until the summer. It could be worse.....but, I can't believe we just became "that place" now.

Whenever they do start hiring again.....people are probably going to think twice about coming here because of the uncertainty of our abilities to grow. Our golden parachute is gone, movement was our thing - what are we gonna offer now?

Part of me thinks the same, the other part realizes Mesa is still attracting people so..

This is the only thing that really concerns me. The only thing we DID have to offer was rapid movement. Our contract/pay is mediocre, we have no flow or guaranteed interview, and our base options are pretty limited. Without the prospect of a rapid upgrade, why come to Compass?

You're right, though...the good news is, with the attrition numbers we've been having, it's only going to take us about 6 months to get back to the staffing/flying ratio we have now. So I really don't think this is going to be a long term issue for us.

Who knows, though. This is a fickle industry. What's good today may be bad tomorrow.

No problem! Have fun. It looks like it could be a really cool overnight...when I was there night before last the High for the day was like -11...F. Way too cold to actually do anything.

Yes, but.....heh....going to Mesa feels like walking into that used car lot below the highway overpass that's run by smelly Chechnyans that'll finance you that truck you've been meaning to get at 35.9% APR and you sign the docs due to your 490 credit score.

Mesa will ALWAYS attract.
