Outside of this summer I haven't recently seen many MELs on the aircraft.. 0 to 1. Summer was bad.... but it's over now.

Rgr, thanks! I will say this, having all my previous experience in Turboprops with the most technologically advanced one having an FMS and MFD, this plane's technology is blowing my mind! I keep waiting for a slide that tells me what I'm supposed to do rather than "here's what the aircraft will do automatically" lol!! That being said, I can imagine these things can be a bit of a maint hog? Also assuming they probably don't like the cold with all these computers?

Oh and remember lights and switches guide and that 60-something page study guide that was handed to you from a friend for the automation.

A lot of problems stem from it being a jungle jet. We will come in and power up in the AM only find a few EICAS messages flashing and honking. Shut it down completely, start it back up and it's magically fixed. Small things like that have caused delays. I remember the first time we got the continuous seat belt dinging and finally realized it had to do with ground power. Stupid problems like that. It's not like we have gear, engines, flap failures all the time. It's really minor annoyances to be honest.

We have gotten a lot of new maintenance guys I've heard so the company is trying to improve things so hopefully we've gotten quantity and quality that'll help our operations improve.

Just ran into our old MX guys in SEA. they all work at Skywest now and Compass keeps trying to lure them back.

Well that's a special case in SEA. I wonder who's decision it was to transfer to paying Delta to do line MX. We get rid of a lot of our SEA based personnel now we're in an awkward position of trying to get people back within a year.
