How is the culture? Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.
Sent you a PM

Given that the vast majority of pilots hired prior to early August 2010 went there I would say most likely. I would venture to guess his interview consisted of people from Northwest HR.

I agree with this, I interviewed last week and was successful. I used the guide they sent and skimmed through the Everything Explained and Turbine Pilot guide books and it was plenty sufficient. I'm also prior 121 and currently flying light jet part 135, that experience helped in the interview as well with the situational questions. It wasn't quite as easy as Endeavor but not much more difficult either. Very positive vibes in the Compass building for sure.
I have some big boy decisions to make now myself, good luck to you. if you need any further details PM me.

Its no question. Just ask the numerous ex 9E/pinnacle/mesaba guys here. Or the very select few who are ex compass at 9E who hate it. The choice is clear if you plan on commuting. I dont live in base, and quite frankly I dont need to. Driving to work would be great, so if you are from DTW or NYC, I can understand your dilema. Im not originally from MSP SEA or LAX, or any base for anyone for that matter, but even with a cross country commute, (I bid for and fly min 75 hours, sometimes 80+, ymmv) QOL here is great, especially after reserve.
Is it the bonus and interview thats holding you up? The movement at CP is huge right now, and has been for a while now. Still 20 or so a month. Movement is just as good now as it was when the flows left last year. Sometimes way more, sometimes a little less. I think last month was 16 or 18. Earlier this year we had 30+ a month. I expect it to get near that after summer is over. Either way you will likely be left seat for years here and likely move on on your own, before you would be capt at 9E. (3 years required as Capt to qualify for DGI right?)Plus all the other things that lead into QOL.

How hard is it to become apart of a Chief Pilot's Office or apart of Pilot Recruitment within the first two years of being a pilot at Compass? Is it possible? How long would a pilot have to be at Compass in order to obtain one of those opportunities?

What is icrew? Never heard of it. Quick search of the app store and iCrew doesnt even bring up aviation apps.

You have to send an email to [email protected] with your name, email, emp # and phone #. It takes a couple days but it will work eventually
