Speaking of hats, for those of you who think you’re at mainline: Regional pilots DO NOT wear hats! Everyone at mainline is laughing at you because even they don’t require hats, and the ones that do, pay a decent wage. Do these pilots know the flow to DL ended a decade ago? At least half the pilot group today does not wear a hat.
The company is laughing all the way to the bank after getting our CBA extended for another two years, in addition to IOCC, and our sub-human travel priority. Even after all of that we still have guys wearing the hat...unbelievable!
Show yourself some respect and leave that D-Bag magnet at home, or stow it in your bag.

Some of us are still on #probation
so I'm wearing that chick magnet until I'm sure I've kept my nose sufficiently clean. Plus its just a warm up for my neck to bear the weight of the Delta hat....oh dont forget the starbucks and double breasted coat were all gonna be carrying

How often do we discuss the hat on here? Must be nothing much exciting going on.
Time to digress.
I wear it. I’ve forgotten it at home before also. I don’t have a problem with it either way. If you don’t wear it I won’t say anything about it. I’m not the uniform police and as long as you look presentable to the public, I’m happy.
Getting all worked up over the hat seems like high school drama to me.

Curious on why the bonuses are so different across the 3 different companies- TSA, Go Jet and Compass since they are all owned by the same.

As for TSH, they just don’t seem to make the right decisions:
1. Giving away 6 planes because they don’t want to open an LGA base yet open a PHX base with like 2 planes.
2. Stop hiring for six months but we should thank them for not furloughing.
3. Cutting summer classes for no apparent reason when the floor is still 85 hours and we are JAing FOs and now CAs.
Things aren’t perfect but it’s still a pretty good place to be. Still the fastest upgrade on the 175 with guaranteed west coast bases. Depends on what you’re looking for though. If base and aircraft are important to you, Compass is a good place to be. If you are chasing upgrade or pay, we are not the worst but also not the best.

Early Oct class canceled...now have a class date of November 22nd...which is thanksgiving. Bold move. If people drop classes is there the possibility of moving up class dates?
