Received an email yesterday that hiring had slowed and my original Oct 4th class was pushed back until October 25th. Currently the class options are October 25th (earliest) and Nov / Dec...first come first serve for class scheduling.

((Is anyone else locked out of their email by chance? I tried logging in today to put my bid in for 12M and it tells me to update my password. I tried to "update" it but then it tells me that I'm not allowed to per the company. Then I tried to reset it and it tells me I can't because of the company's certificate... I had emailed TSH IT on my phone and I went to check if they replied and I'm locked out via my phone now.))

That reminds me, we are all supposed to have our phones in airplane mode during our flights. By the time I complete debrief items, say goodbye to 76 people plus children and jumpseaters, assess the post flight situation, and of course the snack basket inventory, I will get to my phone to check missed calls, I'm sure it will be 15 minutes. 
Not that were contactable by phone after block in anyway, I just have a sensitive conscience.

Y'all do realize that Walmart will sell you a perfectly good 'burner' phone for about $50.00 don't cha?
It's not like scheduling needs to have your ACTUAL phone number that everyone else uses.

Wow, more planning buffoonery. We did just add 40 to the list for August, but still, we barely just got out of the wild west of JAs for FOs. Now we got that for CAs, except CAs are harder to pin down because we know the rules a little better than new hires.

They just brought 40 online this last vacancy. Classes are full until September. My guess is that they don’t want a training back log and having to send guys home with pay for weeks. Just a guess.
