They are kept secret. Except they are in a huge hiring deficit and EVERY regional in the last 10 years has shouted from the mountainntop every single CPA signing.

Any updates on how hiring/attrition and training are going? I just had my class date moved to a later date. I asked about doing an earlier date however that wasn’t an option.

Oh then I guess I was mistaken. Need to stop sniffing glue.

We are slowly, very slow actually, returning to more normal levels of staffing. Classes are in full swing but it may have been moved so you don’t get backed up during sims. We are hiring around 30 pilots a month and losing about 20-25. So it’s a slow net gain. Legacy hiring will pick up after the summer so attrition will likely increase.

every indication seems to point to a big turn around in our hiring and training, it seems to be on an upswing. the last few vacancy awards that have come out have had lots of newhires going to all bases.

Well the geniuses at tsh have decided to cut the number of classes in half this summer. This is due to lower than expected attrition and they think we're adequately staffed.

Uhhhh what? Since when? I call BS on that.
It was 1 class a week of 8-10 indefinitely. I was told that by numerous training department folk over the last week.

All I know is that a friend of mine trying to get an earlier class date can't get one until September. Whether that's all classes full or classes being cut, I don't know.

Go ask someone in recruiting. You can call all the b.s. you want, but the facts are the facts. The earliest class dates are in September. We're running one class every two weeks now. Indefinitely doesn't mean the same thing to compass or tsh as it does to everyone else.

4 out of 5 OO Pilots that I’ve met or know personally regret not coming to Compass. Our cockpits are better, work rules, compensation, benefits, training, and E-Jet upgrade are all better. Sure we don’t own the airplanes, but given how long anyone stays at OO (because they couldn’t take it anymore), that wouldn’t make a difference.
Nonreved with a OO captain to Detroit (commuting to crj 200) almost a year ago. Hinted to him the same DOH cpz captains held top 30% in LAX. Not sure if that’s true now considering the loss of six planes and all. But no riskit no biscuit!

in·def·i·nite·ly
adverb

for an unlimited or unspecified period of time.

Technically Compass uses the term correctly. Pretty much everything in the company is indefinite (unspecified / undefined).
