The news guy pointed out that they were both on the respective lines so maybe the ops people or city bear some fault too? Hopefully this crew doesn't get held back in their careers
Last night about an hour after this incident happened, I was in the alley at the Eagle's Nest. A ramper decided to park his tug (and two baggage trailers) on the wrong side of the white line. Wingtip clearance didn't look great from the flight deck, so we sat there for 10 minutes calling ops and waiting for him to finally move. I'm more than fine getting paid by the minute to wait to make sure an incident like this doesn't happen to me.

Anybody see the new read file about checking lat/longs when we hav an expired datase? I guess they are revising the release to show lat/longs sp we can go through each fix.

Anybody else get the feeling were gonna start seeing more expired databases in the future?

CP-"So why were you ten minutes late getting off the gate for every flight today?"
PMDW-"Well I had to verify every lat long in the database because mx didn't get it updated in time."
(Earlier that day)
PMDW-"Okay, let's verify the points on the HLYWD1 arrival now. OK first is ESTWD: N"
FO-"N"
PMDW-"3"
FO-"3"

All the deferred/expired databases!

"Deferred is preferred." That's the TSH mechanic motto!

Thanks Hulas!

Lufthansa is costing us way more than expected since they have to pay to fix all the iocc bugs so that our part time FAs can trade away all of their trips that it forced TSH to drop down to the Bronze FMS update package. Frequent updates are only available in the Gold and higher packages
