So we start getting Pivot mounts for our aircraft right after Deltas starts getting theirs! Proof that they're buying us out!!
Except........these are Delta’s birds so the second fact only validates the first fact (obviously I know you’re being facetious)

Since its a slow news day....
Next time you're doing a launch and sitting there double fisting swedish fish with a fresh cup of crappy coffee, remember, the APU SOV Fail message is easily cleared by turning the thing to on, then off. No need to run a QRH lol. The only thing that has failed is the last captain's shutdown procedures

Side note, it always seems like when that message pops up, the cockpit seems to be a mess, too. Makes me wonder what the last captain was in such a rush for the previous night!

You have to wait to turn the batts off until the “apu Shutting down” message clears on the eicas. Otherwise the fuel SOV valve doesn’t fully close.
Sometime back there was a read file on this.
You don’t even need to do the turn on and off. Just turn it on like normal (wait for the yellow block on the %), then turn it on. No issues.
What happened is the aircraft lost power before the SOV fully closed.
