I'm right there with you and there's lots of pros and cons but the hardest part is our management lying and hiding facts so who knows how long upgrade will take. Good luck in your decision.

Like I said before, to the fall 16 hires, even if the flying goes away, you either leave as a captain to a major, or leave as a very valuable 1000+ hr FO, go grab a McNasty little signing bonus at Envoy that would rival G Money's best month of crib pay flying, and then go to a legacy or whatever. Who cares a about seniority at a regional right now, DEC is not a bad gig at a wholly owned. If you're single. Move in base! Instant QOL improvement. Then keep pressing on toward your dream airline, aka. The first one that calls.
I would stay if I were you, if we do get more flying then you'll be ready to upgrade, if not youll go get cashed out at many other places who will pay top regional dollar for your experience.

Right real quick- Phx upgrade time?
No idea why I said “right real quick”
Last day if an 8 day trip and I want to leave my miserable job.

Compass will announce a cadet program for the hang gliders 1 NM South of LAX VOR. Much like the rotor transition program, they'll give you some of the bonus to help you out with the transition. These pilots are preferred for their experience in busy LAX airspace and their ability to continue flying even when LAX has a ground stop for everything that can't do CAT III. Should really help with recruiting.

This place would be a whole different airline if only we had a concrete answer about 2020
Summer 16 here here. I was really contemplating jumping ship a few months ago. If they took my vacation, I would have. So far things are looking better. As long as they don’t mess around with me too much or throttle upgrades again, I’ll probably stick it out for the upgrade.
