This company has a serious email issues. This is not my first airline and other places did not have this problem. It seems to stem from people trying to outsource their problems to every one else without putting in any effort themselves ("I lost my glasses") or people not paying attention while doing their job ("Yup, AllPilots will cover all my bases").
This is not the first time the company has aired out someone else's business ("the so-and-so has been fired for this - not eligible for rehire"). This is not right.

Its not the email system. Its the user...

The fact the email begins by addressing a single person and the email was not even sent to that individual is unbelievable.

Maybe its because outlook sucks. When there are this many errors you can't discount poorly designed software. In terms of the lost items, come on, really? outsource problems? Its human nature to make mistakes, people forget things specially when you have to move all your things from place to place multiple times a day. How about a lost and found like every other place ever where people lose things.
If you lost something:
Go on FTWEB or Crewtrac and look up the crew that the plane after you. Then email them or call them directly (crew scheduling will forward your call if you don't have the number).
If you found something:
Flightaware can give you the flight numbers for that tail number. Go on Crewtrac and look up the person that flew the plane prior to you. Or call scheduling/dispatch and ask who flew the plane before you. Email them or go through crew scheduling to call them.
If all else fails check the lost and found in the crewroom. I know Seattle has one. Only after all other options have been used is a blast email appropriate.

A little effort can put you in direct contact with the person that found or lost the item. Let me help you out.

This is deff not a software issue as someone stated. We had this same email system at my previous airline and never had emails like this sent out all the time, SMH

I would say it's been a steady 8-10 people (full classes) and I doubt that will slow any time soon. They have a lot of FOs to replenish after the upgrades.
