LAX FO good seniority now but even back in my 60% days the trip typically exceeded min credit (4 hours) each day. Sits are starting to pile up on the American side, not sure why, but delta side seems to be pretty efficient. Idk what the OPs seniority is and I'm not sure if that's what SEA is like but min day credit for 5 day full of sits is gross for sure. Someone has posted before we have more sits now because of low staffing so supposedly if staffing levels increase the trips will become more efficient once again. The good news is most new hires should gain quick seniority so you most likely won't do those nasty trips for too long.

4-5 days off, commute day, first landing will always be a pranger. I always let the captain know this was intentional as I wanted to let the passengers know they have arrived in ELP at midnight. Wake up any of the sleepers. This allows for faster pax deplaning so we can get to the hotel faster. Last landing is always a greaser unless it’s go home (commute) day. Then I make sure those boards go up so I can make my commute home in 30 minutes.

I will second what others have said about the trips being made somewhat more inefficient than they used to be to cover flying due to our staffing levels. When we get more people online, they should be able to build the trips with some more efficiency like we used to see. Not sure exactly HOW efficient that will be since route structures change, but I wouldn't be surprised if schedules get better in the upcoming months (assuming we get enough people online to not be short-staffed).

Make them up. Sometimes I can't remember what ship it was so my go to is 200NN. I don't think SouthernJet Air Lines will care about the tail numbers. Then again it is SouthernJet....

Have any other non-California resident received a notice from the state of California that states Compass provided the state with information that makes them believe they are supposed to file an income tax return with Cali for a previous year? I received a notice stating that California thinks I must file a 2016 (not 2017) Cali tax return, yet I've never received such a notice for all the other years I've been LAX based but not lived in the state. So..what the he!!...
Am I really expected to pay taxes for the state I reside in as well as in California, IE double my taxes?!
