honestly if you can get on at spirit, go. I'd be careful about a Dec. For instance Envoy. Go there then sit Captain reserve in lga till the year 2300. Keep in mind that while 6ou may be working towards your 1000 pic it is in no way a golden ticket and you may be stick in that position a LOT longer than you want to be.

And I'm hoping someone tells BG this on the next phone call. He's been so oblivious to what's going on I doubt he realizes people are leaving from the right seat because they don't want to be here anymore due to mgmt decisions. I'm sure MW is telling him lies right before he sucks his dick about why we're understaffed.

Poorflyer, while brash, I totally agree. We are hemorrhaging 2016 hires. Guys that sat on reserve for a year, being forced to fly on days off, cancelled vacations, 3 year upgrade, give me one solid reason anyone would stay given those circumstances. Honestly I would only stay if I lived in base. That’s about it.

I think I’d rather be stuck on endless reserve east coast vs. flying coast to coast just to get used and abused. At least I’d be commuting in the same time zone.

If you didn’t think PHX was just for recruiting purposes.. I think that memo should be good evidence that we don’t really need many people in PHX.
