As a line holder, a company representative cannot junior assign you any flying after you block in on the final scheduled leg. The FDP ended at block in and cannot be restarted without the required rest period.

Just remember, your union reps voted to extend the contract another 2 years without membership approval or ratification...so many gains could have been made in that arena. We elect our reps for our best interest...i’m Not so sure that happened here. We could have done more for retention of pilots...

Not that I like it either, but given the amount who vote for said officials, I can maybe see why we don’t vote very often.

Wasn’t these grievances and contract extension issued by the previous MEC leaders and not the current one? Not sure just thought about the timing is all.
Also heard a rumor that the company wants to give up to 200% BUT wants min day at 3:30. I don’t think we should give any ground when the company comes asking.

I would like to throw this out for consideration. Would you give up min day pay (4 hours) only for the last day of you were released prior to 12pm local. Like last day min day would be 2 hours and you got block or better, basically to incisivize the company to end trips early? Just throwing that out to hear opinions. As a commuter I’d do It to get home. Could take away that last victory lap, so your done after that early YVR leg ect.

This. There is no reason to give up ground here. They created this staffing problem and they are STILL in denial of what it's gonna take monetarily speaking to get us back on track. They want to shave off 30 minutes to pay for 200%, what's the net effect? A financial wash for them, and we cover more flights. No thanks.

How about they raise the pay for these 2016 hires (non bonus FOs) and put out 200% if they want people to work on even more off days. Sounds like we would all be paying for that 200% out of our own pocket with a reduced min day.

And crimson I know it sucks to commute I do Msp a lot but you'd have more days off if we had efficient 5 day trips with a well staffed airline and a floor at 75 hours. 75 hour lines should consist of 3 5 day trips max rather than trying to reach 85 hrs by making your last day 2 hours because it would absolutely worsen avg Crip credit if they could do that

Average Crips..

If Mesa, Commutair, Air Wisconsin, and the other TSH brands can offer higher incentives (2-300%) to cover their schedules, I don’t see why that’s so difficult here. I’m glad Building C Suite 130 has their work cut out for them; I have zero sympathy. They’ve had two years to fix the training program, and revamp pay and benefits.

you are exactly right 200% critical pay would only help a small handful of people that are able and willing to help the company, at the same time padding their own pockets. 3.5hr min day hurts everyone!
