Dude, it's just talk. The chances of us being bought by RAH are just about as good as the CIA actually being responsible for the assassination of Kennedy.

It depends...look how smoothly America West/US Airways integration went...

At least you are still getting CFIs!
At OO we are starting to bring on "older" 1500-hour weekend warriors that always wanted to be airline pilots.

I wonder when the pool of regional candidates will be tapped out.

Still know lots of rotor guys who are going to come over when they're done with the military.

My class is 100% military, of different backgrounds and equipment.

Are you saying the CIA wasn't responsible? My whole life has been a lie...

In all seriousness, I know it's just talk. Just was curious how that process even works. I'll continue to pray to Jetway Jesus for a prosperous future.

We’re not getting any CFIs except a very few that live in Phoenix. I talked to a recruiter he says it’s mostly military and randoms. Which if you ask me is bad news. CFIs go where the goin’s good.

Also,
12 month Training... any tips what to focus studying on? How in depth on systems knowledge? FOM?

I know there’s a “KV” in there somewhere but I’m just blocked on the schedule for a MV and a LOE. Do they just sneak the KV into the MV brief or something? Does the same guy that does the KV do the MV?

This RAH nonsense is a load of cap until proven otherwise

Study everything! FOM AOM1 and 2, flows, call out, red box memory items, limitations! Know everything and then once you think you know it all, study it aging!

The kv is done just before the mv. It takes anywhere from 5 min to an hour depending on the instructor. Know memory items and limitations cold and you'll be fine.

They usually do the KV in the MV brief. And yes be prepared for it. You should have the same instructor for KV and MV so you could get lucky and have a 15 min KV but then there's the other possibility so might as well be prepared.
