There’s three types of CPZ people:
1. Place on the Pedestal
2. Hang it from the Ceiling
3. Jam it in a Crevice below the EICAS
I’ve yet to see anyone go WN style and put it on the yoke clip.

Captain Raises
You raise the captain rates by 4 dollars an hour...how many captains do we have here that have been captains longer than 3 years (I'd say it's under 10%)? So why are we negotiating for things that most of us will never see...If you want people to stay, offer Endeavor rates (we fly 76 seat airplanes just like them)

RD is a LCA so yes he is, but I don't like what the video was trying to foreshadow!

Speaking of, who’s idea was it to fold the release into 1/8ths and shove it into a crevice where you can’t read 7/8ths of it?

Also, about the water bottles. They're Element Thermoses, thats why it's so expensive.

Here's a question for you folks that hang it from the ceiling. Does this impede your ability to see traffic? Would you hang it there on a line check? (Serious question)

To answer your question: NO. This needs to be addressed. However, when the next vacancy bidding period opens (Mar 17th?) you will be able to see your current award in Ascension.
Put it there next time you get in the airplane, folded right above the fuel numbers and below the MEL. All it blocked was the view of the paneling above the windows, I'll admit I can't see the center handle very well. If you use the STL sim it basically ends up in the same spot were the video screen is installed. I did it with a Fed on board and he didn't even mention it.

Other than the fuel numbers... What on the release do you need to see "at a glance" that can't be seen when it's folded under the EICAS? Aisle wenche's name in a if I forget whom I need to ask for a diet coke? Deferred items? The flight plan? Yeah none of that crap is time sensitive that I don't have time enough to just unfold the damn thing and look.
I hate hanging it up top. It's obnoxious and in the way.

Before we switched to the LIDO dispatch releases all information was clearly visible folding it using the "jam it in a crevice" method.

Hanging the release from the ceiling doesn't even come close to impeding my view of traffic. When I sit at the proper height (eyes level with the "level ball" indicators) all it ever blocks is my view of the gray panel above the windshield and occasionally the center handle depending on the length I fold it to. Definitely doesn't block even a square millimeter of my view out the windshield. Also done it on line checks and with a fed and had no complaints about it.
