The plane was designed that if you want Flaps Full, you're supposed to go to Flaps 5, not Flaps 4. In Flaps 4, there won't be a gear up warning (as someone mentioned earlier). In their wisdom, Embraer decided that "landing with the gear up" is worse than "landing with flaps warning". Some long gone CKA or non-SLIP instructor probably made up the Flaps 4 thing, and most of us just follow it blindly now.
Below 700 ft RA and TLA <45 with flaps 4,3,2,1,0 you will get a gear warning.

Go directly to systems CBT. Do not pass Deicing module and do not collect per diem. Go directly to systems CBT.

There is a lot more to the systems logic than that and flaps 4 was intended to be used in transition.

This is just a result of poor leaders making not-well-thought-out changes by memo because there isn’t an adequate training program at this airline that doesn’t emphasize or even want a single iota of airmanship from its pilots.

Anyone else see what’s wrong here ? You sir are the perfect example of what we need less of in this industry. It’s your attitude why you’ll probably be a lifer. Fellow CPZ pilots please let’s not be like this attention seeking gentleman. Those young guys got to mainline because they are two hard working youngsters with good attitudes who benefited from good timing in this industry. I’m happy for them even though I’m way older and been flying longer than both. I have even asked the former CPZ one who I know for advice because I want to be like them. Maybe you should too. I thought I was done with forums but when someone sent me this today I opened a new account just for you to show our pilot group your true colors. I hope this post you made helps you to land the mainline Job you so desire

P.S. get your facts right they were both FOs for 2 years and also you’re a hypocrite for making screenshots from his FB page if I was him I’d delete you.

End of Rant

That wasn't my argument or why I sought input from people with knowledge about RAH. I know this isn't the thread for an in depth discussion. Just didn't want blatant misinformation being read and accepted as truth.

This always leads to a fun discussion. Bobbylee you're the meme master. You got that gif of Michael Jackson eating popcorn in thriller cause I'm just gonna sit back and watch.

What’s unprofessional about joking with your peers ? Explain because I’m confused. Neither of us is DL and clearly they are professional in their eyes hence they are there. You don’t see anything unprofessional about the post I made a rant about ? Because you’ve said nothing about that. So it leads me to believe either you’re him, his friend, or you agree and share the same views.
