Other regionals will take you when you're 12 months from obtaining the 1500 but not here. If you're flying 140 hours per month (Jesus) - you'll be good to go in just 2 months! Make sure you have 50 ME too. They're scheduling interviews pretty quickly anyway. I guess you just gotta be patient.
I have the hours and multi but am not current and need a bfr. Do you think i would get the TBNT? Trying to figure out if i will need to shell out the money.

Guys are getting hired outside of currency. It just depends on "your full package". I know a military guy that hasn't flown a plane for many years and flew just UAVs and be got hired.

Trying to decide if i should contact recruiter and ask or just submit app and risk the TBNT.

I would say reapply at 1350... I think that's about where my friend was when he applied and got hired. So at least in the past they've hired with less than 1500 but they probably won't assume 140/mo and give you a class date on that, I'd imagine they'll want you to be pretty close before they actually schedule you.

I'd speak to someone first. I may have screwed myself by applying too early if there is some kind of waiting period to reapply. I sure hope I didn't but I'd hate to see someone else in the same boat.

Yeah that is what i am thinking also. Its just not fun dishing out money and then finding out you don't need to.

I hope you're just trolling. Yeah, I am gonna give you that benefit of the doubt.

Please don't give this guy such bad advice. He already got the TBNT once, now you're telling him to reapply in 50 more hours at 1350. Even though he may be eager, it's going to show that he has no patience. Compass is having no problems attracting new hires with the competitive times.

Man, just wait until 1500 and apply - Compass will still be here in 2 months.

I disagree... it doesn't "show he has no patience", it shows he's interested. Like I said, my friend got a call/hired at 1350, so it's not an hours restriction at that point, if he still gets the TBNT, something else is up with his app, or they've changed what they're hiring based off. Maybe wait til 1375? It won't make a difference, he can still get a class date at 1500... but if he waits til he's 1500, he will end up missing out on some seniority #s for no reason. Unless you're in recruiting, my advice is just fine.
