While various rumors continue to circulate I did hear the one about a pay raise here first and it happened a few weeks later. Any word on east coast flying ? Or maybe even a base ? That's the last one I heard about flying Again I'm just asking.

I heard from a flight attendant, who heard from a new hire FO, who heard from a check airman, who heard from a sim instructor, who heard from another sim instructor, who heard from his mom, who read on the internet, that we're opening a LGA base to take over S5's flying. I still feel all the FO hiring is of the "get 'em while you can" thought process.
And we're losing 2-3 cka's a month to the majors.

I agree, we have about 800 pilots on property, divide that by 62 airplanes, and its between 12-13 pilots a plane which seems to be about industry average no?
