You sound like a PSA pilot excited about taking American Eagle airplanes because they wouldn't sign a concessionary contract.....

Who said I was excited about it? I was just perpetuating the latest rumor to come out of the company. That's what this site is for isn't it?

The numbers of aircraft we have in delta paint match up almost perfectly with the number of united embers that are supposedly canceled, so they will use them to meet the original united order. BB is desperately trying to get rid of the 145's, but he has no desire to part with his 170's. If compass gets delta 170's, id guess they'll be brand spankin new.
The tail numbers that are trying to be added to the ops specs are republic airplanes..there's no doubt about this. I don't have a dog in the fight. But I used to be a mgmt pilot at Cp, My old buddies still in mgmt confirm this. Seems it's happening.

from what I understand it would be a settlement. Republic moves the aircraft over to be operated by compass for x amount of years in order to avoid legal precedings with daddy delta. You are correct republic still will own them. Compass will staff them.

Unless the new TA changed it, that is not legal per the pilot contract. All Republic owned aircraft have to be operated by pilots on the Republic seniority list, as it should be.

Don't contracts get thrown out when you lose a lawsuit?

A TA get thrown out? No. The pilot group isn't being sued.

Wow. You really are an absolutely clueless moron. Go back and read it again Dilbert. Someone suggested that Republic would lease the planes to another carrier and have that pilot group fly them. It's not possible with the TA. I'll say it nice and slow for you. The...planes... are....owned....by....RAH. Regardless if Republic loses a lawsuit, a judge can't change the terms of the TA! We're not talking bankruptcy here genius. Now go back and read it again...slowly.

Man, you make it too easy.
