i really hope thats the case, make cpz as attractive and competitive as skywest and others and show some commitment to employees. however i tend to agree with pilotwithnoname..... they would have to have come to an agreement that the union accepts, then put out an LOA to be voted on that would then have to pass...a somewhat lengthy process. plus, i thought it was odd that the union put out that email pretty much denying that there is nothing to report and nothing coming. hope i am wrong!

I heard from a CP friend who Crashpads w a CP union rep that our union leaders didn't sign the first year pay raise LOA.

Hope you're right. The rest of the contract pretty much sucks, especially the reserve rules. If the company wants to raise rates, they need it badly to attract new hires. The rest of us better get something in return other than just new hires.

Judging from the class sizes I bet it'll happen soon.

Like the part where it you have a 24hr layover on a holiday all you get is the min day 4hr pay, you don't get an additional 4hrs for it being a holiday. The only way to get it is to actually fly that day

I don't think it's true. I just had a long layover over Thanksgiving and got both. The language in the CBA is confusing. It looks like if you have a schedule over the holiday you get the extra 4 hours regardless of what you do. At least my Flica schedule shows both. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
