The answer from management was "if you were hired after July 17th you will get the $10,000 bonus. If you were hired July 16th or prior $%# you, sucks to suck." That is what they "basically" were saying. No new news from ALPA, and I don't see the bonus going away any time soon because of the union...
If the company doesn't play ball with the MEC, a lawsuit should be filed for violating the RLA and the CBA.
I think the company knows our MEC is weak right now, short staffed and they will take advantage.

I don't mind bouncing back to LAX every leg, but I sure as heck rather it be from IAH/YVR/YEG/SAT/DEN than SAN and SJC.

If you search AA's website for the city pairs that current AA feeders do out of LAX, but search later on this year, you'll find some more CPZ destinations...

We know we're gonna have 20 airplanes all out of LAX. SkyWest said they are dropping all they're AA 200s outta there soon, and that's only like 11 or 12 . Not sure Mesa's number of aircraft, but our 20 could theoretically cover all the AA feed flying and some additional new routes, like Mazatlan.

I was under the impression that was the plan. Eventually we would be the only Eagle feed based out of LAX.

I Hope it's a lie. Apparently it was mentioned recently at a delta connection conference in Atlanta.

This will be a true test to our current MECs willingness to stick their necks out for their members.

Perhaps some of the new guys should 1)educate themselves on collective bargaining and 2)volunteer their time to improve their own and their fellow pilot's careers.
