I hate to beat a dead horse but am trying to get as much info before I potentially give up my sen. at another regional. Does anyone know how many pilots are currently on the senority list? And how many more ejets are still coming? I understand lax is junior but how long cold somone expect to wait until getting to Seattle. As anyone can understand I don't want to jump ship and end up junior forever at a new regional.

How many more do they need to hire for the growth part of the equation before they resume hiring for just attrition?

We have to hire about 375 for the 150 flows and 20 new airplanes. I would say we have hired close to 200, maybe a little more. A pilot starting this month should get the artificial jump to 75% relative seniority. We should settle around 650 pilots after the flow pilots leave the list by this November.

The hiring should continue at 40/month for the next 3 months and then 20/month for 3 after that. A majority of the pilots have 4 year degrees and are not "lifers". That should cause the regular attrition to be slightly higher than older regionals.

I heard that the final number they want to be at is 720-750 to have a little buffet for attrition after the flows

610 was the official number put out a month or so ago. Count about 10 pilots per airframe.

there is a new hire discount on uni's during ground school. Idk about the luggage, but I will let you know if I hear any factual info. Would be nice!!! LW is expensive, but worth it.
