At this point they just should block all FO's until they tell the company they meet the minimums. Then the pilot will be unlocked, and if they lied, it's completely on them. Maybe allow a 20 hour buffer for one month out. Some of these class dates are less than 30 days out and it is possibly to think you will get the time and then fly less than 20 hours.
They could raise the minimums to 1050 SIC hours and say you can bid it as long as you are within 50.

The company and ALPA have both stated multiple times not to bid upgrade until you meet the minimums.

Two things. The company is contributing to this problem if they are allowing that. 75 block hours is not a guarantee. 1000 hours is the FAA minimum. They should just set their minimum to be within 20 hours a month out. Second, pilots that bid for it and then don't get the time, are asking for a crap schedule when the company gets to build them whatever fits their needs. For those thinking it will somehow work out if no one notices they have less than 1000, what in the world are you thinking?

Bet you get fewer "accidental" bids then!

There wont be any AA passes, lol.. AA does not give American Eagle carriers, other than wholly owned, access to JetNet.
If they decide to give you travel benefits you will have no way to look up loads. You will have to list via MyIDTravel, and then contact your company pass bureau to pay the service charge and for ticketing. That can take 24-48 hours. You also wont have priority on your own metal.
It's really easier to just jumpseat.

I wouldn't count on AA benefits. We started AE flying last August and haven't heard a peep other than "we're working on it."
The regionals have zero leverage with flight benefits from mainline, especially American. I usually just list for the jumpseat, and even then I don't have priority on my own metal.
