Was just curious to know if there are any CFIs out there with ATP mins who have applied to Compass with no college degrees who have gotten invited for an interview? I have no turbine or previous part 121/135 time either but will be meeting their mins. in a few months and want to know if Compass considers us too...i.e are they one of the few regionals that are being quite picky?

I haven't received a call and I've heard a 4 year degree is "strongly preferred". I've applied everywhere except SkyWest, Horizon, and Awac and I have interviews with all except Compass, Mesa, and CommutAir (haven't heard back from them yet). I've heard that the pace of hiring may slow in the first part of 2015 but for now it seems like most are hiring as long as you have ATP mins and a pulse. Be ready for the recruiters to come beating down your door. Each telling you why their airline is better than the others. Just do your homework and study for the interviews and you should basically have your pick.

Thanks
They offered me am interview when I had 12XXtt. Though, my application did indicate that i was flying 50hr/month and I wouldn't be able to start for 6 months. They never really mentioned the R-ATP, by the time I interviewed they just verified I would be above 1500.

How would compass feel If one interviewed at Gojet a few months back and received a job offer?

I wouldn't mention it. They won't care anyways.

Default Compass or Allegiant

I have a November class date with Allegiant, and a December class date with Compass. Which one would you guys choose? I'm leaning pretty strongly towards Compass.

If you live in an Allegiant base Id say go there, if not it's not a job for commuters.

How often does Compass interview? I was given Nov 19/20th option for interview and was told the January 8th class is filling up quickly. Time/seniority is a priority and I'm concerned a Feb/March ground school may be to late in the game. I don't want to be a 2 year mid to senior FO.

Based on current hiring and expected upgrades, do you guys think a Feb/March new hire could upgrade before the end of 2015/early 2016?

Are you sure they said January 8th and not February 8th? Late September interviews were going to mid to late January classes already
