Preliminary apology for ignorance:

Can I look at the contract?

How long would one have to wait to be guaranteed an MSP base? Any chance of an ORD base as a result of the Eagle flying?

If you can find the Compass ALPA website the CBA is open to the public. As far as holding MSP- it is a shrinking base and will keep shrinking into the future. It's impossible to tell if and when you could hold it. Even if you do, the QOL will be bad as you'll be on the bottom on ready reserve constantly on the brink of being displaced

How do you know that? There's plenty of movement coming up and I bet you'll see plenty of commuters go to our new bases once annouced. MSP very well could become JR. You never know, but I wouldn't say they would be at the bottom. Jeez everyone that's here right now will be a Captain by the end of next year, theh who are they going to fill MSP, LAX,DTW FO with? New hires...

I agree. I think there is a very good chance of someone JR being able to hold MSP fairly quickly out of training in the next several months. We haven't even seen the massive movement happen yet. MSP is shrinking but upward movement is happening a lot faster than the bottom coming up.

Anyone commute PHX-LAX? I have an interview next month and the commute looks pretty good with a flight pretty much each hour. Not sure what the loads and jumpseats look like though.

It is a very easy commute. You will have no problems with it.

Is there any word as to how many people actually don't pass the job knowledge test and get sent home from the interview because of it?

So, if that rumour is true, they're sending home 40-50% of the people they pay for to interview with them? Seems very high...
