Ya max thats reasonable. But its a "regional" (actually cpz is just a staffing company) with only 1 customer and the most evil ownership on the planet - so you may not even have a job in 2 years. There's just no job security here whether its the left or right seat.

Whoa killer, easy now. That could happen to anyone, all regionals have the same risk.

He's right though, we are just a staffing company...eventually we are going to be in the same boat everyone else is in at the regional level as far as being able to find good qualified people to staff our aircraft...it's only a matter of time

Agreed. Compass basically has zero assets. Everything is leased from Delta. Compass just provides the labor.

Please tell me about a job where there is "job security". It doesn't exist. Anywhere. Not just in the airline industry. Anywhere.

If anyone over there at Compass is looking for a pilot, I'm available! Left a couple of messages, apps' been in for awhile. Have an unrestricted ATP with the required multi with a jet type rating and a personality! Just a little short on the FW time but loads of TT/PIC

How long is the call-out on Reserve at LAX? Will the long-call that takes effect with the new contract be 2 hours?

Sorry guys, one more question. I have my interview next month so getting antsy. Did anyone do interview prep with either Emerald Coast or Aero Crew before their interview? If so, was it helpful? As background, I am transitioning mil, so no 121 experience, and no job interview experience.

Personally, I don't know of anyone who has gone through interview prep for the regionals. Just study up on the gouges over at aviationinterviews and study up on Jepp plates. There are quite a few applicants with no prior 121 experience and they do just fine in their interviews without going through prep courses.
