They also said that LAX was up to about 40 crews now and some people in class are getting a base of their choice.

Congrats man. They were my first choice as well. I am in the Feb 13 class. Do you have prior 121 experience?
Just finished the interview today and was offered a position so I am super stoked to start with Compass, especially since they were my #1 choice. From what they told me today the next class date was 3-14 then another class starting on 3-17. I don't know if they have any class dates scheduled after those 2 or if people will just start swimming in the pool, but they did mention that they were waiting for Delta to release hiring information to further plan dates.
Congrats on the offer, what class date are you taking?

Just curious if the guy that interviewed with me on Monday is on this board. They quickly seperated us after my HR panel and I didn't get a chance to see him again. Hoping he got the offer asa well!

No prior 121 time so I have a hill to climb. Since others were wondering my total times are 1510tt, 450 multi, 280 turbojet sic, LR-Jet Sic privileges. Last 2 years I have been instructing and right seating in a Lear 31A for a part 91 operation.

Awesome, congrats again. I'm sure you have a 4 year degree too huh. I think it's the only regional that requires it.

So its been awhile since I was Delta Connection and I forgot to ask at the interview,... so can someone give me the scoop on flight benefits? I remember the flight benefits being much, much better than Continental and United.

For $50 a year you get all of the domestic nonrev you can eat for yourself, parents, wife and kids. You get 6 free overwater travel days per year also. Your parents flying will cost a little per leg, but not bad. You can have a domestic partner instead of a wife, but be prepared to back that up with lots of proof of a relationship and cohabitation, and a notarized document with words like "fraud, termination, and prosecution" in the disclaimer. Unlike some other regionals where you just get a plus 1 that you can change at your will, it is a really big issue for them for some reason. Also, no buddy passes.

So my dilemma like many other regional FOs contemplating lateral moves. How's MSP and DTW look for new hires to get out of training? Lax just wouldn't work for me to commute.
How's training with the home study? For FOs from other mega regionals that made the move how would you rate your QOL now?
