Without getting to much into detail, would you take a job at compass or a Job flying a Learjet right seat with a full type rating?

Whichever one pays more (guessing the learjet job) and allows you to live in base

Well they both are full types so that wouldn't make a difference.

Most places I know of define PIC time according to FAR 1.1.1. It isn't just sole manipulator of the controls and appropriately typed. Even though you might be Part 91 and sole manipulator of the controls, you aren't the final authority.
Pilot in command means the person who:
(1) Has final authority and responsibility for the operation and safety of the flight;
(2) Has been designated as pilot in command before or during the flight; and
(3) Holds the appropriate category, class, and type rating, if appropriate, for the conduct of the flight.

First, you can't in the lear either, well you can but it isnt worth a crap good luck putting that time on a major application. Second, the info is out there to make a big boy decision, I think 25% movement in 6 months speaks for itself...

If you are right seat in the Lear I'm assuming you are not PIC and the PIC time wouldn't be worth much.

I came to Compass from the left seat of a Citation. The pay as a f/o is less (not so bad after the 1st year) but having a schedule and travel benefits is priceless to me. I am happier here as a 3rd year f/o than I was as a captain on the nearjet/slowtation. Even with a crummy junior schedule at Compass Your days off are yours. No sitting around waiting for the phone to ring unable to pop a cold one because the phone "might" ring. Work days are work days, off days are off days. To me at least, that is huge.

Well realistically would it be long to hold a line, and will it be easy to go over the 75 hour guarantee, big thing for me is pay right now..

If your in the first 80 or so a line should come fairly quickly.

Over 75 hours will depend on staffing. If training is cranking people out as planned, than probably not. If they struggle to keep up with attrition, it is possible.

I got hired in the last round of flows in 2010. Spent 3 months on reserve and never broke guarantee.
