Yes, I’m almost sure 6 out of the 6 people that interviewed that day did. During the board interview they also asked how I knew them and if they had ever flown with me etc… Which I know them both really well so I guess it helped. If you have someone willing to recommend you I would suggest you get them to submit it not only through the airlineapps.com process but also send a typed recommendation letter via email directly to HR. After my buddy did that I literally got a call 5 minutes letter to schedule an interview. I was still on the phone talking to him after he submitted it and got the call on the other line… So I’m guessing they are big on internal recs. Best of luck!

Is it quiet enough up front in the 175 to wear a telex 750? Or is it like a CRJ or ERJ?

I wear a Telex 750 single side onthe CRJ 700! After a few flights I got used to it and love it, the only time is hard to hear is when the other guy is wearing the Dave clams that the company provides and he doesn't want to get the mike close to his mouth when we are climbing above 300 knts below FL 300

That should answer your question, if you were asking about a CRJ 700.

I'm the opposite, I hate the 750 in the 175. Maybe I'm just too hearing impaired already, but I can't hear crap with them. I found everything has to be turned up really loud to hear AND understand. I also cringe every time the altitude alerter goes off if I'm wearing them. You can rip your headset off at 10 and listen to the speaker that is behind your head, I'll be next to you enjoying the peace and quiet of my Bose.
