I had heard HQ to be moved to STL to be with the rest of TSA. Office employees will have to move or move on. From what I understand TN will have to make a choice. (no commuting CP) I do not have a time frame on when this takes place.

I heard MW is just dying to be a DO or CP again lol. If your HQ is going to STL nothing good can come out of that. All one big happy family under the same roof. But of course seperate companies. When is everyone going to start pulling for one list? Just wait until contract negotiations.

Seems a bit costly to uproot EVERYthing out of MSP and move it to STL. Especially given all the personnel changes that have happened in the last couple months. I know mgmt at TSH doesn't have the best track record, but in this case I sincerely doubt they believe the benefit of moving everyone / everything to STL outweighs the cost. CPS is valuable to DL in MSP, and I'm willing to bet TSH understands that.
There have been no efforts to integrate seniority lists, and there probably won't be for a while...at least until the MRJ deliveries start happening, the cheapest pilot group / highest paying mainline will get them for sure. As far as I understand from line pilots who conduct interviews, TSA and GoJet pilots cannot be hired at CPS. Probably because TSH doesn't want to pay to train a pilot twice
Our CBA probably won't change drastically when it comes time to re-negotiate, most pilots are content with the current one. Complaints here and there, but we likely won't re-invent the wheel.
Pilots are still being hired into a pool due to training backup. Interviews went on hiatus because of the training dept issues. They're picking back up in August, and will likely continue through the spring at the very least. We only have 2 of the 6 new aircraft on property, and we're riduculously understaffed...like to the point where CA's are being offered critical pay to sit reserve on a regular basis. If DL picks up some flows, we'll be hiring throughout next year for sure.

Yea, Compass training is all messed up. I started ground school in mid April (orientation and 30 day at-home training started in March) and we're still not done. I just counted up how many days off I've had since we started ground school and I've had 60 total days off.... Vacation is nice but it's tough to get good at flying a new airplane when you have 2-3 week stretches off during the important phases... I didn't expect this at this airline. First it was equipment issues, then staffing issues, then equipment issues again, and then they wanted to push the captain class through first and now they're re-training captains that had something wrong with their original training.....

It's funny, the previous training worked for 400+ people... but it's all jacked up now that the FAA has a different opinion on it than they did 4 years ago when it was certified.

The problem is that they apparently weren't following strictly to the training curriculum. Or at the very least, Compass was interpreting their training program different than the FAA did. Apparently there were items in the lessons that weren't being covered (although most of them were probably already covered once in other lessons). That's why they had to have check airmen or APD's audit the lessons and make sure every item was covered line by line. It didn't improve the program one bit by them doing it though. Just disrupted the flow of the lesson, caused delays and too many cooks in the kitchen. On our last lesson, our instructor was observed the FAA. Fun stuff
