Hello,

I am looking for some advice from those who have recently interviewed. It is my understanding that the technical exam does not come from the ATP written, and has a lot of advanced aerodynamics, weather, and mental math questions. In preparation for the technical, I have been looking at the far/aim, weather and aerodynamic books, and reviewing pertinent formulas. What is the best way to study for this test? I ask because the Compass study guide (and list of suggested reading material) is so vast and vague, I would like to focus on the books and material that will be of the most help.

Thanks

Study the Delta gouge. That is what I studied and the questions were very similar. Also look at the FE written book for some systems knowledge question about jet engines.

It is on hiatus at the moment, but still in the contract. Doesn't sound like it will be fixed soon though
