da*n im gullible....either that or just expect a turn of events such as that to follow what we all felt was good news a couple weeks ago..

On the #3 test, the Job Knowledge test, I understand that it has 60 questions in 60 minutes. Is the passing score 70% like on the FAA knowledge exams?
And just to confirm, the 727 steam gauge sim ride went away, right?

There isnt exactly a passing score on the job knowledge. They take the results of all three tests and come up with a pass or fail. Study the Delta gouges and I would recommend Naval Aviators Guide to Aerodynamics (worked for me).

No more steam gauge eval. Do not waste your time with the ATP written, completely worthless for the knowledge test. Good Luck.

Test was difficult! Be quick with mental math computations for the Knowledge and the Cognitive. I started to run out of time on the Knowledge, keep ahead of the 1 minute per question pace and you'll be set. Not too many questions came from the ATP, but they were related. I reviewed the Delta gouges, and looked over quick rule of thumb computations. There are a few decent calculation questions on there. Make sure you get a good night sleep before taking the tests, the cognitive will wear you out!

I am taking the test next week. Could somebody post a gauge the tests... examples of computations we will need to able to compute. I haven't been able to find any examples on any other gauges. Any examples WOULD HELP! This would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time everyone!

Pretty typical computations like:
How long you can hold: for given a FOB and burn rate
crossing restrictions
how to compute distance from a station
Compute lead in radial
Things that are in Mental Math for Pilots. It is a pretty important read for the test
