Yeah I went to the fair too. Pretty much they will interview a couple days in July and a couple days in August to start another pool of about 25 to maybe start a couple classes in the fall. I'm guessing physically handing them your resume is the thing to do right now. That and an internal rec.

I did both, and still waiting, but like anything in this economy, gotta be patient.
I'm not counting on a call and looking at other things in the mean time.

As sad as it is thats the attitude to have right now...Campbell is spreading us thin, thats how he likes to run things, the same way he did at NWA i hear. Its like having Kim Jong il's propaganda team as our monthly company newsletter editors-

'We are so happy to announce that we will be hiring 12 more pilots!...With more to come in the future!' 'Oh happy day!' 'Let us rejoice!'

'In other news-We have hired 45 more flight attendants-that thanks to the selection skills, and no-nonsense-recruiting job completed by HR have found us more applicants that are able to count to the numbers of 78! What joyous times are ahead of us'

'Let us look to the east in unison as the shooting star, that is, Headquarters, changes its celstial base to a more centralized location, where are forfathershath written our creation just 4 score ago, shine on little star shine on...for with the backs of willing employees we may continue to flourish'

'Until the next time we may communicate our new found intelligence-the jonas brothers'

There are always rumors. Since day one, our mis-management team has been trying to spread a rumor that we are "Best in Class." Whatever the hell that means.

But they told us at Pinnacle that we were "Simply the Best." I feel like I've been lied to

I think Delta would like to see us pick up more flying in another area. However the little bird on my shoulder told me the Pres of the company said we cant because we cant staff it. We would have to be able to get rid of Mem and part of flying from another base. (take it as a rumor or what ever you want)

In other words we are still losing flying and we are still not hiring. Yet everymonth I am scheduled for min days off and max scheduled flying 93-95 hours credit. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! But the good news is that our on time departures, which they care more about than anything here is in the 69% range for the month (way below the goal) And honestly I dont think there is one crew member that cares!!! Also the airplanes are pratically falling out of the sky with maint issues. (I had 8 write ups in
4 legs this trip with a few very serious ones that tempo grounded them) Go team COMPOST!!!

If it helps.... stop "feeling" that way. It's fact.

I gotta believe our numbers have tanked because we haven't received our weekly cheerleader memo from the "Dear Leader" in Chantilly. Things have definately hit the wall around here.

Perhaps two summers of system wide cancellations due to inadequate staffing in 3 years will finally seal Tim Campbell's fate. There are a lot of former NWA higher-ups at new Delta who remember the summer of '07 at Northwest orchestrated by this incompetent clown. Let's hope they take notice and act accordingly. Then J.K. can get back off the line and step back into a management position. You know he wants it.

As a CPS CA, I care about our performance #'s and fuel savings, but as of a few trips ago...my chronic fatigue has set in.

So now, I don't care if we're late and I don't mind running 2 engines during taxi out and in.

Whatever.

Those are my favorite pieces of comedy, especially the one about how we know were are running a different operation than Colgan.

In terms of fatigue, that was covered by the June 5th CompassPoints. "Don't keep pressing on, complaining that the company over-works you. On any given day, what is over-work for one person is a pleasant day for another." ~Head Cheerleader~

So if you are fatigue and continue then it's your fault now that its is an issue in the news. Prior to it being in the news and on the FAA's table then you probably have serious health problems if you say you are fatigue
