Default Flight Beni's For Compass Under Delta

What is the flight beni package at Compass with the Delta deal like....Better.....Worse....The Same????

I am a 9-E employee and with the rumored package in the work I feel like either leaving the industry completely....go to a fractional company or find another airline completely...I have a few months to make up my mind.

I would like to know the substance of the package.

For Mesaba and Compass our benefits got better.

#1 - it's free, except for the $50 user fee which I'm happy to pay in exchange for what we get. Free biz class if space available too.

#2 - more people can use them

#3 - we don't have to fly with our buddies and they're cheaper

#4 - for Mesaba we'll finally have online access to travel benefit listing and checking loads.

#5 - fly confirmed for less remains

#6 - DL is honoring our bankruptcy passes

#7 - access to higher priority boarding a few times a year (albeit only on XJ, CP or OH).

Yes Pinnacle... you're getting hosed!

Maybe I read it wrong but doesnt the new pass travel offer Delta employees the same boarding prioity on our planes as we get.

So if this is the case someone at Delta that has more time there boards before I do on my own airplane. So it looks to add about 40000 more people that can bump me off of my own ship.

Is this correct??? The wording shows them as the same pass code right?

Also I think Compass, Comair and Mesaba get higher priority than Pinnacle and such on mainline flights

The nickel being last in everything is about the norm now-a-days. Contract, Morale, and now non revving.

Management better figure something out or there will be some issues......

Welcome to the Delta world. You will have to board after all Delta employees, spouses and retirees on mainline metal regardless of seniority while Delta employees are able to use DOH and board before you if they are senior to you on your own metal.
We at Comair used to have the same priority as any Delta employee on all flight (mainline and wholly owned) but all this will change next month. Our union is trying to get all the unions of the wholly owned to fight this second class citizen treatment by management. If you would like more information on how to get onboard this movement to change the boarding priority, please PM me.

Actually... welcome to the NWA world. This is how it's been for as long as I can remember. Airlink always boarded after mainline and mainline retirees. We did however have priority on our own airplanes until we got free coach passes for free in exchange.

Actually, the .pdf we got on the travel benefits doesn't say that mainline retirees and spouses / parents are listed the same as current mainline employees and Mesaba employees on Mesaba Flights.

It just says that active mainline employees are listed as S3, the same as current Mesaba employees. Did I miss something that showed the listing code for retirees and spouses of mainline on Mesaba somewhere?

On wholly owned retirees get S3B. But a Delta/NWA employees will get S3 on Mesaba and you will get S3C on Delta. You and I are second class citizins in the eyes of management. Call your status rep and ask for equality.

Non-reving is worthless, starting next month I have S3CR priority, being a furloughed airline pilot. I'm going to buy a ticket if I need to get somewhere. Delta sucks!!

Mainline. On mainline flights, mainline employee's parents and Delta/NWA retirees travel S3B priority. Now if they are treveling with the employee, they get bumbed up to S3 including wholly owned flights too!
