This is great information. I'm in the hiring pool right now and hoping for a class date soon. Its good to hear that MSP is going junior enough for newhires to hold.

I was wondering... do you have to be 23 to apply or just 23 when they hold your class? I'll be turning 23 in a few months, but was wondering if I could go ahead and apply.

It's mentioned on their requirments site. So anyone really know, or have I given my naievity and age away all at once?

I heard that a couple of guys that interviewed had less then the 1500 when they applied knowing that they would have the time when they interviewed, but I guess they went back through their logbooks they saw that and showed them the door. But that was just flight time and not age.

yea they just want u to have atp mins from what i was told. Its in the contract that we get our ATP and PIC type in the 170/190. A few pilots slipped through the cracks some how with out having min time and they wound up only getting a commercial sic in the aircraft. Alot of drama... but they will have PIC ATP on next recurrent.
