compass Upgrades??

Well been in YUL all week and its a ghost town up here...Everyone has been going into the SIM early because it has been open all week...However I haven't heard about selling any sim slots. The next 6 ppl did receive their CBT info today and the following 6 should have theirs by the 23rd of this month. Cae was told that they will be doing the SIM work for Compass until May 31st at which time all the future sims will be done in MSP with our new sim.
Those 7 guys that didn't get their ATP's initially are also scheduled to do those in MSP in May. Making Compass the only regional I know of that has ALL its pilots PIC typed and ATP certificates in hand....its nice working with good ppl that have some experience.
Still haven't seen anything about upgrades but I am expecting to see a few very soon.
Thats all for now.

Its a good airline with growing pains. I must say though, a lot less then I ever expected. What great about this airline vs many others is the people. Compass has some of the friendliest group of people I have seen in a long time. Hope it stays that way and doesn't get spoiled.

Excel... one thing I'll throw in there for you. The beauty of flying a bizjet is that your pay is not subject to seniority. If you are flying, say, an Excel as a captain... you command an Excel salary. Now, say if your company goes TU. Imagine going back to sitting in the right seat of a King Air for 20k a year regardless of your experience simply because your company went under. Welcome to the airlines.
Now... here's another thing. It's much more difficult to go from airlines to corporate than vice versa. It'll be even more difficult if you decide that your airline isn't worth it, and you want to go back into corporate... now you'll have "the airline stink" working against you too.
Just my .02.
