I heard we are taking at least 2 new classes, they should be end of January. However, I dont know if they are interviewing or taking new hires out of the waiting pool. I believe it is the later of the two.

I hope the upgrades start soon too. My daughter is starting to like Ramen a little too much, this is starting to disturb me!

As always I am glad to hear this as well. Hopefully this little bit of good news (or Rumor) can let us all pick our heads up once again

I have no news of possible upgrades but MY guess is that at least 6 more will come VERY soon. The RSV lists are still a little short. Not as much as some say but still short. Our problem has been staffing the right seat with CA's. If we grow that right seat list I think the left seat will be properly staffed.

Here's to you guys that are keeping the wheels up over Christmas. Thanks for the effort and I hope you have some down time for the Family. We've all been there and its not fun. Thanks

Hi!

My buddy said they are pretty short.

ALL of the Compass pilots and FAs I have met have been great.

Good to know! Anyone know how firm they are on their 500 ME time? They prefer an ATP (which I plan to have within 2 months) and a college degree which I already have.

I don't think they are actually hiring off the street. They are taking people out of the pool who interviewed and were hired a few months ago, unless some announcement about actual new hires comes out and they interview people (which seems to not be the case right now).

That said, if they do take everyone out of the pool and get them into training and still need more pilots, they will most likely do what they were doing in the last few months of hiring which is to not interview someone unless they have 135/121 experience. There are just so many out there right now to pick from.

I'm also willing to bet that when they call the poolies, very few will have accepted employment elsewhere.
