I've had an app online with them since last fall and got a thanks, but no thanks letter without ever interviewing. It's still listed as on file and I just updated and resubmitted it. Is this enough to be re-considered or should I try starting over with a new email address and new app?

If you are asking me, sure. Just under 4900TT, about 1800PIC turbine, just under 4600ME, with both 135 and 121 exp. And a couple of type ratings. Really trying to get back into flying full time as the company I'm at now is saying they are gonna let my re-current lapse until things pick up and they need the part-timers. Made a few mis-calculations this past year in regards to my employment...sigh. That and I miss flying pretty bad.

Figures...I interviewed and was turned down back in Sept 07, but I it's been over a year. Plus a good friend of mine is a CA there and was trying to help. Oh well...just keep on trying I guess. My buddy there said to stay away though as the contract and employee abuse is getting worse by the day.

They invited me to interview back in July, but I was flying contract and couldn't break it or find someone to replace me. They told me to call them when I was done with it. I called earlier today and sent them an e-mail...
I have over 5000 hours with 4000ME, 2100 PIC. Part 121 furlough.
Is Compass still hiring? The website says they are... but some conflicting information here.

Even with the 12 new hires we are still going to be short staffed from their original projection. They are supposed to re-evaluate pilot staffing again before summer, hopefully they will decide to hire a few more by then.

I've had FO's who were Captains at other airlines. One guy had 20,000+ hours. I don't think he's "overqualified". A better explanation is HR isn't very good. Apply again with a different email address.
