This has been discussed in detail for at least the last six months. Just search the forum. At least myself and everyone I have flown with at Compass is not worried about any flowback. Send me a PM if you have any questions.

I don't know why he was banned, but I think I just let out a sigh of relief. I think I almost lost my medical just from my blood pressure with that guy around.

Hey Folks,

I read through this entire thread, and could not get the answers that I needed, so here is my question(s):

Why is Compass hiring again? (More A/C on order? Anticipating that when the merger is complete you will lose pilots? What?)

The short answer is Compass stopped hiring early and found they do not have enough pilots.

The main reason Compass is hiring is that we have been extremely short. Flights have been canceled by the bucket full. Plus we are losing flying that we were supposed to start in Feb. AKA BOI.
We just had our first day in a long time (about a month) where a reserve actually did not get used....ABsolutely amazing!!! Best guess we are understaffed by 40 pilots. They have been telling us we would be adequately staffed for the number of airplanes online about 6-7 months ago. Yet all of us are still waiting.
