Here’s to you, teabag falling from the HUD case, the ensuing childish chuckle from us, and the belly laugh from the OAL jumpseater.

Here’s to you, Compass crews, laughing, waving, singing songs, celebrating holidays, drinking, smoking cigars, swimming, riding bikes, gambling, and partaking in all manner of other wholesome and unwholesome activity, from Fairbanks to Monterrey, the greatest group to ever fly for a dumpster fire of an airline!

May nostalgia prove more endearing than reality.

Gentlemen and Ladies of Compass Airline: I am greatly saddened to hear of the impending shut down of Compass. I had the honor of flying at Compass for over 10 years before retiring in July 2018. I met and trained many a new FO and Captain during my time as Check Airman there. I left CPZ for Delta Private Jets and even though I have been sold by Delta again (technically merged), it is not a bad place to work. If anyone has interest in the biz jet world, look me up on FB or Linked in and send me a message. I really missed the good times and good folks I worked with at CPZ and I wish everyone affected by this the best of luck.
