I just want to say how frankly amazed and impressed I am by the career progression happening right now. Almost every CA I have interacted with has a CJO somewhere. Mostly Delta, Frontier, Spirit, and Allegiant.

For those of you wondering how many new hires we are expecting: ~15 for the rest of the year. My guess is the upgrades will continue! For the junior FOs, don't expect to advance rapidly on the seniority list until some (good) news is announced. This might all be relative if we only have 300 pilots in a year.

If a management pilot squealed about something, I’m about 99% sure they would break there NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). It’s not worth risking your whole career and potentially lots of fines for talking...so agreed with the others if a management pilot is talking, he’s just as out of the loop as everyone else is and it’s all here-say

This. As much as we want to know or as much as pilots say “they should tell us,” people need to view it from a strictly business point of view. I’m willing to bet most of them don’t for sure know much of anything, but if they do they’ll be quiet about it. After all they also would like job security...

Speaking of smart moves...

Imagine if Southwest was nearly doubling its fleet and had 3 year upgrades.

Now you have spirit, who is hiring 700 pilots in 2020.

If I know about it, Mesa knows about it. The only reason for not filling us in at the moment —-> it’s not a done deal. That doesn’t mean a bad thing necessarily...it ain’t GOOD either. TSH isn’t smart. Not holding my breath for them to mess up whatever they think they might have.

I agree with you on that it may not be a done deal. I believe that there is an LOA, but an LOA doesn’t mean anything. It could be contingent on MANY different items.

While I get your rationale TSH is one of the very few regional airline holdings companies that has never had a carrier go bankrupt, that’s the only credit I’ll give them...

Knowing many of you are West Coasters Envoy may not be at the top of your list but it should still be something to definitely check out if you're thinking of alternate options. With the Near Entry Captain program starting up, and over 80 175 CA vacancies in the last bid, they're looking for qualified professionals such as yourselves.
