Unfortunately, I agree. Leadership here has proven track record of misleading and even outright lying. My bet is they've got the WARN letters printed and ready to go.

You’d think they’d stop recruiting, handing out bonuses, and sending people to ATP-CTP and Indoc first though. Because all those things cost money, and you don’t need to give anyone 60 days notice.

It does cost money. But not even close to the money they’d lose if they can’t complete flights in the meantime.

Hopefully not the case for you guys, but while it costs money to hire and train, it may be diversionary. They figure if they pause or stop the hiring then that is a definitive indication and people will pull the trigger on things they are otherwise waiting on. There may be more of a penalty if people leave and they can’t cover flying.

Hiring and training is already a line item in the budget. First lie. Next step is paying big bonuses to keep people around to turn the lights off. It gets more expensive after that with litigation.
