My goal is to get to mainline, period. From the right seat, great. From the left seat, great.

Many FOs have moved on to majors. CAs aren't the only ones to have worked hard, gone to job fairs, volunteered, or done other things to stand out. Many FOs are also previous part 91, 135 or military. I've flown with several CAs who don't even have apps out, why I have no idea.

That's crazy.. your compass resume career objective should read :" to get to a major, preferably anywhere.. "

Woah. Let’s press the brakes here. Just because someone is optimistic about landing a job with less “dues paid” than you, doesn’t mean they feel entitled to it.

Okay then, good luck! Week i am surprised the word optimistic is in your library.
Its not dues, its experience.
I am just sick of these people thought 2500 total can get them anywhere.

Allegiant, Sun County.

I know women in majors (even Delta) with less than 2500 TT.

Ok now I have the brakes lol.. Let's not go down this road. It never ends well. I have seen a lot of people leave before me.. People who didn't know when to drop the gear when I flew with them, but they got experience, some but not all upgraded, and now they're at a major while I'm still here getting the tbnt from jet blue etc etc.. Rather than get bitter, I (we) have to be happy for everyone who makes it. Some will go before others, and it doesn't mean anything bad for those who are left behind.. This whole thing is a mystery. No one knows why some go and others who are well qualified dont.

If you let the bitterness in, you might take it with you to your next interview. And you'll be miserable to fly with before you leave.

Edit: to the lower time, don't assume that any Milestone will guarantee anything because it won't. At the same time get your apps in and reviewed early and hopefully you can get out sooner than you think

There’s a big part of that sentence about getting into the majors and it ain’t the 2500 hours. Sun country - yes, they’re high instructors out of flight school.
